Some more colours have arrived……
….and I love how the blanket is starting to shape up…..
The colours look so beautiful together, it makes me feel a bit giddy!
I really love the subtle differences in some of the shades…..
….the colour on the right is called ‘Gooseberry’ – possibly one of my farvourite yarn colour names yet:)
…and meanwhile, also going on at loop and bar…..
……I’ve moved my work space to the other room – there is more natural light in there (why didn’t I do this before?!) – here’s a glimpse of my new space…
It’s such a transformation – the added bonus is that the wood burner is in this room too, which will make for cosier blogging in the autumn and winter! But in the meantime, I’m enjoying all the light flooding in from the window by the desk, the view into my garden and the sound of the birds outside. I can see more of the rest of the house from here too, so I don’t feel so hidden away while I’m working on the mac, like I did in the other room……
……and I’m now a little bit nearer to the kitchen, much more convenient for replenishing this……
I do love my redbush tea:)
…….By the way, did you notice the new page on the blog? If, like me, you love your flowers and a bit of a nosy at other peoples gardens, you can see what’s going on in mine in the loop and bar garden (links in the side bar and the top menu of the blog) – it’s just a bit of a picture diary, but it’s a space for the thing I love as mush as crochet!
Here’s a sneak peak…….
I love this lemon coloured aquilegea
…and the lovely thing about doing a bit of gardening……….I get to bring a little bit of it to my desk……..
…and my windowsill…..
….and on another subject altogether….
One of the most brilliant things about having a three year old neice is that you get to buy things like this……..
…..I bet you know what’s in there……
I initially just bought the ‘big sister’ mouse, but a few days later I totally caved in and ordered the baby sister AND the pram AND a dress for the big sister! I really want to keep these for myself!
I do have one of my own, though. Perhaps I’ll be adding to my collection sometime soon!
