1. I’ve mostly used Drops Alpaca. You’ll find it’s not the sport weight it claims to be, but no less useful for being fingering weight in disguise.

I’m loving the palette of colours you’ve chosen :o)

      Thanks Annie,
I do love the Alpaca, it’s so soft – and as for the weight, my knitting tension is usually way off what most labels suggest anyway, so I just use it as a rough guide and use the right size needles (or hook) for my tension! Not sure what I’ll make with this yet, something delicate and pretty :) I’m using the DK I got in the rest of this order to do a blanket at the mo :)

Great selection of yarns – and I love the subtle colours too. I’ve never tried DROPS yarn before. You have made a perfect parallelogram, just tell people that you was your plan! I like your top down jumper – I want to try knitting one too, what is you pattern please?

  3. Lots of lovely WIPs! I do like the look of that Drops yarn as well…I have tried a couple of yarns from the Drops range but not this one. The colours are really pretty.

Thanks Marriane, the yarn is really soft – even the 100% wool, and doesn’t cost much so I’m addicted now!

Thanks Shara :) It’s slow going – I keep having to rip it back beacuse of not concentrating! It is exciting though, can’t wait to finish it and start another! I’m so impatient!
